We are delighted to announce our latest appointment, CJ, who will be leading our Sales, Events and Marketing departments from this date onwards. CJ benefits from a wealth of knowledge in the Event Venue and Hotel industry, previously holding the position of Head of Venues at the prestigious Royal Institute of British Architects for over 4 years, having been promoted from her role as Venue Manager which she held for over 2 years prior.
Having been in the hospitality industry for the past 24 years, CJ knows the sector like the back of her hand, so is the perfect candidate to take on this incredibly important role, especially as we emerge victoriously from the effects of the pandemic and straight into the Christmas period.
CJ is originally from South Africa, then moved over to Malawi in 2000 where she completed an internship for a horse safari company, before moving over to the UK in 2001. She quickly rose through the ranks from Reception Manager in 2002, to heading up Conference & Events in 2009, all the way to her leadership role at RIBA. Her wisdom and passion for the industry shines through, and we are sure she will bring with her a fresh new take for our special events venue.
We asked CJ to comment on her latest appointment, and here is what she had to say:
