A good reception needs room to breathe. At 30 Euston Square, high ceilings and a sweeping central staircase give guests space to arrive, gather and move between rooms without ever feeling packed in.
The building dates back to 1906 and is Grade II* listed, so a lot of the original character is still there: ornate plasterwork, tall sash windows and a staircase that was built for exactly this kind of evening. We’re a short walk from Euston, King’s Cross, Euston Square and Warren Street underground stations, so guests coming from across London, or further afield, have an easy journey in.
We can host up to 230 guests across our State Rooms and Rooftop Terrace, or something smaller and more intimate in one of our oak panelled Heritage Rooms. Either way, our events team will help you work out the layout, flow and timings before the day, so you’re not thinking about logistics once your guests arrive.

We are at 30 Euston Square, London NW1 2FB, a short walk from Euston, King’s Cross, Euston Square and Warren Street underground stations. If your reception is part of a longer event, or some of your guests are travelling from outside London, we also have 41 boutique bedrooms on site, so people can stay over rather than cross town at the end of the night.
Searcys have been catering events since 1847, and they’re our catering partner across every space at 30 Euston Square. For a reception, that usually means bowl food, canapés and a dessert station, built around seasonal ingredients and adjusted for your guest list and budget.
There’s a full drinks list to go with it, from wine and Champagne to cocktails and a solid range of low and no alcohol options. In 2022, Searcys was named Event Caterer of the Year at the Foodservice Cateys, which is one of the reasons we’re happy to let them handle the food side of things while you focus on your guests.
