Top TV chef Jamie Oliver has received the highest award from the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) for work in furthering better food education through the Jamie Oliver Food Foundation and the global Food Revolution Day.
The Honorary Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners recognises his high-profile public health campaigns, particularly his work to tackle the ticking time-bomb of childhood obesity by improving the nutritional value of school dinners. The ceremony was held at the RCGP’s headquarters – 30 Euston Square, central London on Tuesday 5th November.
