We’re really excited to announce that 30 Euston Square has appointed a new Executive Chef, Michelle Truselle, to lead our Searcys catering team. Michelle has had a long and varied career in some of the most high-profile and celebrated kitchens in the UK, and was even a semi-finalist in the 2018 series of ‘MasterChef: The Professionals’. We’re sure she’ll bring an innovative and expert touch to the menu offerings at 30 Euston Square.
Michelle started her career at Westminster Culinary Arts College when she was just 16 years old, and since then has worked at acclaimed names such as The Savoy, Claridge’s and Michelin-starred La Trompette. She then spent time as a Head Chef in a global management consulting firm, where she served royalty, politicians and heavyweights in film and fashion.
When she joined the team at 30 Euston Square a few months ago, Michelle impressed immediately by taking the busy Christmas party period in her stride and has begun designing a whole new choice of menus which will incorporate her signature blend of sustainable British produce with flavours of the Caribbean, Middle East, India and East Asia.
We asked Michelle about her impressive new appointment with 30 Euston Square. Here’s what she had to say:
“I am delighted to be working with the amazing team at the prestigious 30 Euston Square. After joining during the busy Christmas period, I’m looking forward to tapping into my creativity to create and develop innovative menus for 2022, combining my own authentic cooking style with 30 Euston Square’s long-standing British heritage and ethos. My cooking is influenced by what produce is available throughout the year and will be utilising the best of seasonal ingredients across all the menus throughout the venue.”
