Registered charities don’t get an easy ride raising money. Budgets are tight, committees want value for every pound spent, and an events venue can make the job harder rather than easier. We’re based in the same building as the Royal College of General Practitioners, so events with a purpose beyond profit are part of daily life here.
Our Charity Dinner package grew out of that: fixed pricing, a proper three-course menu from the Searcys kitchen, and a fundraising dinner in central London that sets the tone for the evening without you needing to dress it up yourself.
From £89+VAT per person, your evening includes:
The package price is fixed. If you’d like to add a bar spend or anything beyond the inclusions listed above, we’ll agree those separately at enquiry. The only requirement is a registered charity number.
The Euston Room and the Stephenson Room, collectively known as the State Rooms, both work for a seated charity dinner, with capacity for up to 230 guests if you’re planning a larger charity dinner gala, or a smaller layout if your event is more intimate.
Both rooms have high ceilings and advanced AV, useful if the evening includes a speech, a live auction, or a short film for donors. The Stephenson Room opens directly onto the Rooftop Terrace, so guests can step outside between courses on a warm evening.
Every charity dinner here looks a little different. Some are formal charity gala dinners with an auction and a stage moment; others are a quieter thank-you dinner for long-term supporters and volunteers. The room adapts to either.

Searcys have been the catering partner at 30 Euston Square for 14 years, and the menu for a charity dinner is built the same way as any other private dining menu here: seasonal, well balanced, and designed to work whether you’re serving 40 guests or 200. Tell us about dietary requirements and allergies when you enquire, and Searcys will build the menu around them.

This package is available to UK-registered charities only. When you get in touch, we’ll ask for:
Once we have those details, we’ll check your date against availability in the State Rooms and come back to you with a proposal covering pricing, menu options, and any recommendations for the room based on your guest numbers.
The Charity Dinner package is available throughout the year with the exception of December. If you’re planning a festive fundraising event, our Christmas Parties page covers what’s available during the festive season.
For all other dates, the package pricing and inclusions remain the same whenever you book.
Does the £89+VAT price include everything?
The package price covers room hire, a three-course menu, an arrival glass of fizz, and half a bottle of wine per guest. Any additional bar spend or extras outside the package can be discussed at enquiry.
Do we need a registered charity number to book?
Yes. The package is available to UK-registered charities only. We’ll ask for your charity number when you get in touch.
How many guests can we invite?
The State Rooms can accommodate up to 230 guests for a seated dinner. If your event is smaller, we can work with a more intimate layout to suit.
Is the package available in December?
The Charity Dinner package isn’t available for December bookings. For festive events, take a look at our Christmas Parties page.
What information do you need from us to get started?
When you get in touch, it helps to have your charity number, preferred date or dates, estimated guest numbers, and any specific requirements for the evening. We’ll come back to you with a proposal from there.
If you’d like to find out more or check availability, get in touch. We’re happy to talk through the details before you commit to anything.
