One of London’s leading event venues is hoping that thirty and thirty will equal thousands when it hosts a Back to the Future themed party later this month after teaming up with Up to 88!, the official fundraiser for Showmasters in association with Team Fox.

30 Euston Square will recognise its landmark address by celebrating the 30th anniversary of the iconic franchise, and is hosting an extravaganza to raise money for The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research.

Taking place on Wednesday 24 June, the venue will welcome 200 guests to the Grade II* listed building as part of its celebrations to mark two years since officially opening. The festivities will be held in 30 Euston Square’s exhibition space and State Rooms for an evening inspired by the 30th anniversary of when Marty McFly and Doc Brown first hit our screens in 1985.

In keeping with the theme, canapés will include a Bloody Mary gazpacho with dry ice and lobster thermidor bites, while three food stations will be set up to delight hungry guests throughout the evening. Try the beef jerky in buckets or the 30 Euston Square spiced brisket at the Wild Wild West station; choose from a burger and a shake or your favourite pie and more at the 50’s American diner; and personalise your own sundae at the dedicated ice cream station.

In honour of the occasion, 30 Euston Square has teamed up with Up to 88! –  a campaign to benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research, led by Showmasters events in association with Team Fox.

The anniversary party on 24 June will see the venue host a charity draw to raise money for the cause, with prizes including a dinner for two at the exclusive Gherkin restaurant. 30 Euston Square will contribute any donations leading up to the event and on the evening itself to help Up to 88! reach its $88,000 target and fund further crucial research into the disease.

Yvette Chatwin, general manager at 30 Euston Square, comments: “We’re very much looking forward to our second birthday celebrations later this month. We wanted to give our guests a night to remember, so tying in with Back to the Future as the film marks its own 30th anniversary is a perfect fit – and all for a very worthy cause.

“We’re hugely proud to be supporting the Up to 88! campaign for Parkinson’s research, and we hope to raise as much as possible to help reach the $88,000 fundraising target.”
