30 Euston Square welcomes UK and Ireland chapter of Meeting Professional International for 20th anniversary

9th July 2014

The UK and Ireland chapter of Meeting Professional International (MPI), celebrated their 20th anniversary with a VIP lunch at 30 Euston Square on 24th April 2014.

Past presidents and current board members from the chapter came together for the event, hosted by IMEX Group, as president Miguel Neves discussed his plans to double membership of the group and engage current members during his term.

The private lunch for 18 was held in one of 30 Euston Square’s private Heritage Rooms which seamlessly combine the best of traditional features with modern technology – the perfect backdrop to celebrate the MPI’s past and present members.

Executive Chef at 30 Euston Square, Russell Benton, provided a bespoke three-course menu of purple sprouting broccoli soup, poached hen’s egg and walnut soldiers for starter, followed by poached corn fed chicken with a courgette and tarragon flan for main and seasonal cut fruit for dessert.

Miguel Neves, president of Meeting Professionals International said: “As an organisation this was our first time at 30 Euston Square and we were very impressed with the facilities and service on offer. The heritage room provided the perfect environment for a more intimate lunch meeting with great views overlooking London, and the food was excellent.

“There’s an interesting mix of old and new throughout the venue, which I think is symbolic of London as a whole, and its central location makes it an ideal meeting place. We will definitely be returning for future events.”

Among those in attendance were representatives from London Clubs International, Twickenham Experience Ltd, London & Partners, Sustainable Events Limited, RGK Solutions and IBTM Global Events.
